Job Type: Contract to Hire - 12 Months
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications using Spring Boot framework.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Integrating external APIs and services into applications.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in existing software systems.
- Performing code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to requirements.
- Developing and maintaining REST ful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
- Implementing security measures to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
- Optimizing application performance and scalability.
- Keeping up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and Spring Boot framework.
- Deep understanding of developing application using Spring Boot.
- Working in AGILE software development environment.
- Work in a fast-paced, project-centered, team-oriented atmosphere.
- Create solutions that are high-quality, scalable, and maintainable, with an emphasis on backend systems and related technologies.
- TDD mindset and expert in writing unit and integration tests.
- Produce well-written documentation for each microservice.
- Constantly educate yourself on new approaches and technology.
- Communicate with other developers.
- Creating and deploying microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
- Interconnecting microservices with databases.
- Knowledge of how streaming systems such as Kafka operate.
**The above pay range represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. In determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Schedule:
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
