About the Position 

Seeking ambitious, hard-working, experienced excavator Operator to join our new project team in Mt. Home, Idaho. Experience operating 200-470 sized excavators, safely.

Must be willing to work other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor. This person must be willing to carry out company policies and values while thriving in a team setting.

Project Overview: Construction of a raw water intake and pump station facility and installation of approximately 15 miles of HDPE pipe.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive hourly wage – Depending on demonstrated abilities
  • Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage available on the first day of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
  • 401K plan available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.

Responsibilities

This list is an overview of responsibilities and may not include all duties required for the position.

  • Work with ground personnel in the excavation and backfill of pipe online and grade
  • Ensure the trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade as needed
  • Ensure safe work procedures are followed with careful attention to operation near ground personnel and equipment
  • Excavate and backfill around existing utilities with precision
  • Understand and implement pothole procedure, pipeline, and grade compaction
  • Understand and utilize knowledge of safe excavation, trenching, and shoring practices
  • Understand and implement the proper rigging for all materials being lowered into the trench
  • Understanding of soil types
  • Daily work plans, reports, and timecards
  • Lift 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or company security operations for the protection of people and property.

Location & Commitments

  • Project Location – Mt. Home, Idaho 
  • Project Duration – 12- 14 months 
  • 8–10-hour shifts
  • Overtime may be available
  • Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Current and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Pre-employment drug testing required
  • Criminal background check required
  • Adhere to all safety requirements
  • Commitment to teamwork, safe work practices, and integrity
