Position: Staffing Coordinator for Supported Living Agency
Purpose of Position: The Staffing Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director of Human Resources and is responsible for but not limited to assisting the HR department with hiring and training new employees. Additionally, the Staffing Coordinator will work with the Operations Manager and Payroll Specialist in managing and auditing staff scheduling on the time keeping system.
Sensitivity around working with people with disabilities required. Training new caregivers is an essential part of this position.
Qualifications / Education: The successful Staffing Coordinator is people-oriented, energetic, flexible, and well organized. Position requires very good oral and written communication skills, knowledge and experience with recruiting and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision, meet stringent deadlines, and a willingness to learn about and work with people with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications include:
Status: Non-exempt, hourly position. Full time regularly scheduled for 40 per week.
Work Schedule: Flexible hours dependent on office needs. Office hours are 9am-5pm Monday – Friday. Some Saturdays required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Manage Indeed hiring platform. Contact applicants and conduct a candidate screening and interview.
2. Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy in consultation with Imagine’s Assistant Director of Human Resources.
3. Create daily staffing reports, monitor employee performance, and submit weekly reports to management.
4. Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling problems to human resources.
5. Confirm staff details and working hours to ensure accurate employee compensation.
6. Keep accurate record of open shifts and positions.
7. Communicate with Facilitators regarding qualified candidates.
8. Attend regular Monday and Friday Staff Meetings and Leadership Team meetings as required.
9. Manage and edit staff calendars in Time and Attendance platform.
10. Train new and existing employees in First Aid and CPR Certifications and QBS (de-escalation training) Certifications as necessary.
11. Audit HRIS platform to ensure staff trainings are up to date.
12. Assist with Human Resources tasks as needed.
13. Assist the HR department with hiring, training and onboarding new employees as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
