Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team. As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction in various art forms and techniques to students grades 3 and up. Your role will involve fostering creativity, developing artistic skills, and promoting a love for the arts.
Duties:
- Develop and implement art lesson plans
- Teach students various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
- Provide guidance and support to students as they explore their artistic abilities
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on their artwork
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into cross-curricular projects
- Organize and display student artwork for exhibitions or showcases
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on current art education practices
