Imagine Applied Behavior Analysis is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Cullman, AL

Imagine Applied Behavior Analysis is a growing Cullman, Alabama-based behavior therapy practice dedicated to improving access to, and providing, quality ABA therapy services to children and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and related conditions, residing in Cullman and the surrounding communities. Our services are provided within the comfort of the client's home, community, clinic, and/or school setting.

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will-

  • Provide individualized 1:1 care to individuals diagnosed with ASD, and/or related conditions, utilizing the evidence-based principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Provide required supervision of behavior technicians
  • Assist with initial and recurring competency assessments and the training of behavior technicians
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and prepare individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Ensure appropriate implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Conduct initial and recurring behavior identification assessments for caseload
  • Implement parent/caregiver training programs in-person and via telehealth
  • Gather, record, and summarize data in compliance with organizational procedures via an electronic data collection system
  • Attend IEP meetings
  • Maintain positive therapeutic relationships with clients and caregivers through effective communication regarding concerns, progress, and/or treatment
  • Frequently communicate with supervisor regarding concerns, progress, and/or treatment
  • Carry out designated administrative duties
  • Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with organizational procedures
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Ongoing compliance with the Code of Ethics set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • A passion for working with children
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills within Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to accept constructive feedback and obtain knowledge and skill sets accordingly
  • Ability to maintain positive professional and therapeutic relationships
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to move quickly and safely from seated and standing positions

Minimum qualifications-

  • Current certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), or in good standing and eligible for certification
  • Currently licensed by, and in good standing with, the Alabama Behavior Analyst Licensing Board
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between therapy sites
  • Must provide proof of active auto insurance
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must be or become CPR Certified by a date specified upon hire

Preferred qualifications-

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Previous experience working in residential, clinic, or in-home therapy settings
  • Previous experience working within a school setting
  • Knowledge of classroom behavior management strategies
  • Experience assisting in the development of individualized education plans (IEP)
  • Previous personal or professional experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD

Pay: $38.75 - $52.75 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
