Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is Hiring a Lead Infant/ Toddler Teacher Near Maumee, OH

Imaginative Beginnings is to hire a full-time, Lead Infant / Toddler classroom teacher.The Child Care Teachers are responsible for the development, coordination, planning, administration, supervision, and delivery of all child care curriculums.Responsibilities and DutiesThe duties include but are not limited to preparing, assessing, facilitating all aspects of the daily routine and academics for the children we serve.1. Plan, develop, supervise, and implement program activities2. Aid in the Creating & developing of lesson plans3. Carry out lesson plans4. Develop & distribute parent communications5. Develop & maintain relationships with parents6. Make ongoing systematic observations and evaluations of children7. Execute sound administration & management of the infant and toddler programs in order to increase program quality & sustainability.8. Maintain required program records such as attendance, daily schedules, meal plans, lessons plans, and rosters9. Enhance Early Literacy Program10. Monitor & maintain the 'Step Up To Quality' requirements & ratings11. Coordinator for field trips and/or special eventsQualifications and Skills1. At least 18 years of age2. CPR, FIRST AID, AED certifications, and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date3. Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting.4. Experience in the planning, organization, and implementation of age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.5. Previous experience working with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.6. Exceptional organizational & computer skillsPhysical Demands:Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise children's activities. Such activities could include sitting for extended periods of time, standing for extended periods of time, walking, bending, lifting up to 20 #, stretching. Reasonable accommodations may be met.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associates in E.C.E. and two years of classroom experience.We are looking for passionate, creative, and dependable team members, who enjoy preparing children for the future. The candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
