Imagination Station Early Learning Center is Hiring an Infant Teacher Near Portland, ME

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CLASSROOM TEACHERS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Function:

· Plans and implements activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children under his/ her care

· Responsible for personal care, hygiene, learning, and developmental activities, specialized programs, and discipline of children

· Maintains classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness

Childcare has special demands. We care for children, who, in many instances, cannot care for themselves. It is critical that all employees holding classroom teaching positions are mentally and physically fit to perform the duties outlined in this job description.

Educational/ Experience Requirements:

· Is at least 18 years old

· Holds a high school diploma or equivalent, and is appropriately qualified for the assigned age group through education, training, experience, and/ or personal qualities according to the State Licensing Requirements

· Meets all state qualifications for classroom teaching position

· Maintains the state in service requirements

· Displays knowledge and understanding of all current state and local regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
