Imaginarium is an outdoor walk-through display of imaginary creatures and plants at Camarillo Premium Outlets in Camarillo, CA. Wander through millions of lights, take selfies or photos of your friends and family in our photo booths with a large variety of themes, explore the mirror rooms, watch the circus show and enjoy snacks and refreshments. We are all about customer service, and our goal is to help visitors to Imaginarium make lasting memories. Event runs from May 24 – July 21, 2024 including Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee operations in a unique and fun environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in guest services, events management, and cashiering.

**Duties:**

- Manage day-to-day operations of Imaginarium at Lakewood Center, ensuring exceptional guest experiences

- Supervise staff, create work schedules, monitor attendance, train all positions.

- Must be the first to arrive and last to leave every night except Mondays.

- Perfect attendance is required six days/week.

- Respond to guest concerns, communicate with management, and resolve problems

- Open and close the gates daily.

- Assist cashiers with closing registers nightly, making bank deposits, ensure funds are available for cashiers the following day.

-Know the history of Imaginarium, the park layout, and emergency procedures.

**Experience:**

- College degree or equivalent experience preferred

- Relevant experience in event management with limited supervision

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Able to communicate with and motivate and train staff

- Customer service and concessions experience desired

- Must pass a complete background check including credit report and drug screening.
