Position: House parent/Direct Care Personnel
Reports to: Residential Services Coordinator
Employment Status: Full-Time Contractor- Off Two weekends a month
Pay Rate: $3,200 a month
Summary:
Images of Glory (IOG) provides a low management, Christ-centered residential children’s home for girls ages 6-17 located in Orange County, Florida. We are currently seeking a live-in FEMALE House Parent to work with our children. Applicant must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED, excellent driving record, and no criminal history. Couples and singles are encouraged to apply. Housing included in salary.
Responsibilities: A committed professional who can work within a goal-oriented team approach; so as to meet the needs of children requiring daily attention to the emotional, educational, physical, and social needs is who we are looking for.
Identify spiritual needs, correct negative behavior, tutor, plan activities and events, teach and advise the youth to work through problems and challenges that may come up in the course of a day. Responsible for maintaining a cohesive family unit, upholding strong and positive communication, transporting children, and completing required paperwork. Work in collaboration with Admin staff, Counselors, Teachers, Case Managers, other professionals, and volunteers. Coordinate the daily functions of the home such as meals, recreation, appointments, etc. with other house staff.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Applicant must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED,
• Excellent driving record
• No criminal history. Must pass a Level II and Local background check and have a clean driving record
• Couples or singles
• Experience working with at-risk youth for at least 1 year.
