Scope: This a part-time position for a bilingual (English & Spanish) Payroll and Billing Specialist who can handle payments and compensation within the company, and ensure all transactions are error-free by keeping track of billing activities, outstanding debts, and over- or under-charging issues utilizing QuickBooks online. Also, prepare and send invoices.

The Specialist must be detail-oriented and able to accurately collect and store billing and payment data. The person will also make sure all employees are fairly compensated.

Responsibilities

· Handle the timely and accurate payment of employees’ salaries.

· Calculate billing statements and identify and correct errors to ensure accurate payment.

· Create and send invoices and verify customers pay on time and in full.

· Manage and review accounts and balances, identify invoice inconsistencies, and handle all discrepancies.

· Track and classify incoming payments and acknowledge receipt for received ones to maintain transparency of transactions.

· Manage and maintain a comprehensive record of accurate and complete client accounts and outstanding balances.

· Manage employee work schedule.

Payroll and Billing Specialist Requirements

· 2 years of experience in a billing or payroll position.

· Experience with processing payments and transactions.

· Must have experience using QuickBooks.

· Exceptional organization and time management skills, with a good eye for detail.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.

· Good prioritization skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation

The starting salary is $22/hr. Periodic reviews will be conducted to assess employee performance and progress, and adjustments to the pay rate will be made accordingly.
