Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our growing IT team in King of Prussia, PA! This will be a paid internship opportunity with the goal to convert to a permanent position upon graduation. The Intern will provide support to the IT team to gain hands-on experience in the areas listed below. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test software solutions
• Provide thorough documentation of all work
• Learn to apply new technologies and programming languages as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and ensure project goals are met
• Assist in the analysis and resolution of technical issues
• Work with end users to gather requirements, assist in user acceptance testing, and provide training on software systems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in at least one programming language (PHP, Python, etc....)
• Experience with SQL and basic database design
• Familiarity with developing software in a Linux environment
• Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative; strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; able to work collaboratively with all levels of staff to resolve problems and external partners to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results

YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:

• Properly Configure local and remote repositories
• Be Proficient in version control systems used in modern DevOps.
• Deal with requirements related to gathering, functional analysis, project scoping, functional, and technical documentation
• Enhance on a variety of web development skills
  • Single sign-on with SAML authentication
  • Configuration of web servers and SSL certificates
  • Software troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Root cause analysis and documentation
