Responsible for vinyl graphic/signage manufacturing and installations at the client’s site. Preparing substrates/media and producing all graphic/signage jobs according to work order specifications within the stated timeline. Make sign order deliveries. Assist with on-site signage inspection and sign measuring tasks. This person serves as backup to the Production Manager and assists with walk-in clients, answering phones and inventory management. The Sign Specialist is responsible for maintaining a neat and organized work area.

$40,000-$50,000

• Print and cut vinyl graphics.
• Lay vinyl on substrates
• Cut acrylics on laser
• Make ADA signage with router
• Install vinyl graphics including cut vinyl, printed vinyl and vehicle graphics
• Good customer interaction skills

The following are desired but not mandatory:

• Previous experience in the sign / graphic industry
• Familiarity with various vinyl application techniques
• Knowledge of sign / graphic industry substrates, media, and products
• Wide-format printer, vinyl plotter, laminator and/or Onyx RIP operation

• Current driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience installing vinyl graphics including cut vinyl, printed vinyl and vehicle graphics
• Proficiency in using power tools (drills, saws, impact drivers, etc.)
• Read a tape measure and interpret various measurements
• Must be able to climb a ladder and work at various heights (up to 20ft above ground)
• Professional, upbeat, positive attitude
• Sharp attention to detail
• Keen multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as an integral team member
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base
• Previous carpentry, construction or handy-man experience is a plus
• Strong computer knowledge (must be comfortable navigating a computer on a daily basis)
