Position : Receiving & Inventory Specialist
Full-Time
Day Shift
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining control of all inventory items, purchased and produced. They will identify issues with products due to shipping, receiving, warehousing, or vendor practices and follow instructions to correct such situations.
Responsibilities :
Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying products and quantities in warehouse locations
Provide support to operation regarding inventory issues
Examine and inspect stock items for accuracy or defects and report to supervisor
Process and document returns as required following established procedures
Secure material or products for production needs
Re-warehouse items to new locations and complete proper documentation
Store items in a safe, orderly, and accessible manner
Mark stock items and shelf locations using identification tags or other labeling equipment
Take the lead to implement a 5S Program
Order picking
Additional duties may be assigned
