I.M. Systems Group, Inc. (IMSG) www.imsg.com, a science and technical company supporting the U.S. Federal Government, is currently seeking to hire a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. This position reports directly to the Senior Managing Director and is responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance across various platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of HPC systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Collaborate with team members to optimize existing HPC workflows and applications.
• Implement best practices for security and data management on HPC systems.
• Provide technical support and training to users of the HPC systems.
• Stay current on industry trends and developments in HPC technology.
• Work closely with vendors and external partners to implement new technologies and solutions.
• Manage and configure Dell Proliant servers and Dell storage arrays. 
• Oversee Nvidia Bright Cluster Management and ensure efficient operation of our SharePoint environment. 
• Administer SQL databases and Azure Active Directory (AD). 
• Maintain Cisco NX-OS and Cisco 4400 series MPOS routers. 
• Manage certificate servers and on-premises AD. 
• Administer VMware vSphere environments and Veeam backup solutions. 
• Oversee Nexgen storage systems and Fex Fabric extenders. 
• Maintain Centos OS and Microsoft OS systems. 
• Handle application packaging and Intune patching processes. 
• Deploy and manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• Previous experience working with HPC systems and server administration.
• Proficiency with Bright Cluster or other cluster management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, bash) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Sharepoint and SQL administrator. 
• Familiarity with Dell Proliant servers, storage arrays, and Azure AD. 
• Experience with Cisco NX-OS, certificate servers, and on-premises AD. 
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere and Veeam backup solutions. 
• Knowledge of Nexgen storage systems and Cisco 4400 series MPOS routers. 
• Experience with Fex Fabric extenders, Centos OS, and Microsoft OS. 
• Skilled in application packaging, Intune patching, Docker, and Kubernetes. 
• Knowledge of PaloAlto Firewall and SourceFire IPS
