Illuminus is Hiring a Clinical/Nurse Educator (RN) Near Fitchburg, WI

Description

We are looking for a Nurse Educator to join our team and work with a multitude of team members through Fitchburg and Watertown to support our senior living communities. We are a fast-growing company with a lot of potential for growth. We are looking for a highly motivated, team player who wants to grow with us. This position works Monday - Friday, no nights, weekends, or holidays!

The Nurse Educator is responsible for the clinical education, training, and support throughout all Illuminus senior living communities to include Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) instruction and CBRF instruction along with other education and training opportunities. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Director of Learning and Development to ensure that all learning activities are aligned with the company’s mission, vision and values for.
  • Plan, implement and evaluate ongoing clinical training.
  • Develop clinical educational training based on regulatory changes or identified staff needs.
  • Identify and schedule annual clinical required training utilizing internal and external resources while ensuring staff compliance with educational requirements and maintaining documentation on completed training.
  • Provide educational opportunities utilizing multiple adult learning methodologies.
  • Responsible for the oversight of the Illuminus Institute Nurse Aide Training program, including being Nurse Aide Training Instructor
  • Responsible for CBRF training/certification & Coordination of CPR Training.
  • Develop annual clinical Skills Fair for licensed and certified nursing staff.
  • Responsible for the management of Clinical Audit Tools.
  • Work with the Director of Learning on program evaluation and feedback.

Requirements

  • Licensed as an RN in the State of Wisconsin in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years' experience, with one year occurring in a nursing home setting.
  • Minimum of two-three years of education/training experience. Experience training at the adult level is preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in geriatric nursing and long term care.
  • Experience in designing educational programs independently and working with teams preferred.
