Illuminate Mission Solutions is Hiring a Senior Military Forces (MIDB) Analyst Near Charlottesville, VA

Overview:

Cyberspace Solutions, a Crimson Phoenix company is seeking a Senior MILFOR Analyst with an active TS/SCI security clearance to support an ongoing program with a government customer. As a Senior Analyst, you will support the Defense Intelligence Agencys (DIA) China Mission Group (CMG) or Indo-Pacific Regional Center (IPRC) by researching and analyzing multiple sources of information to identify, assess, and report on adversarial military capabilities, doctrine, and vulnerabilities. You will author and co-author comprehensive full product reviews and updates to the MIDB system and finished intelligence (FINTEL) products within the DIAs product line (e.g. DID Articles, DI Tabloids, etc.) as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will gather intelligence and information from multiple sources and disciplines and fuse the information and intelligence into comprehensive database-based assessments to update MIDB.
  • Coordinate analytic assessments and products with relevant stakeholders across DIA, DoD, and the IC.
  • When directed, the ability to author or co-author properly formatted, comprehensive, and professional strategic products, typically within the DIA product line (e.g. DI Short, DID Article, etc.).
  • Provide accurate, substantive advice and assessments to the government customer when requested and participate in DIA and IC working groups and meetings as needed.
  • Follow DIAs processes and procedures for delivering comprehensive, strategic analysis focused on an assigned area of interest (AI).
  • Follow DIAs processes and procedures for initiating initiative production on an assigned AI.
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Clearance: Top Secret//SCI
  • Polygraph: Current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
  • Ability to work with MIDB and have minimal analytical/grammatical and/or typographical errors.
  • Understanding and ability to adhere to intelligence tradecraft requirements (e.g. ICD 203/206, Analytic Quality Framework, etc.).
  • Experience performing strategic analysis of regional military capabilities, doctrine, equipment, policy, etc.
  • Masters Degree or higher in any discipline and 8 years of full-time intelligence analysis/support experience OR; a Bachelors degree in any discipline and 12 years of full-time intelligence analysis/support experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the East Asia-Pacific region, including strategic competition and regional powers
  • Experience performing strategic all-source analysis of regional military capabilities, doctrine, equipment, policy, etc.
