Illinois Valley Community College is Hiring a Business Analyst, Full Time Near Illinois, IL
Reports To: Vice President for Business Services and Finance
Salary Range: Exempt, commensurate with education and experience, excellent benefits package
Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Vice President for Business Services and Finance, the Business Analyst will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows. They will translate these requirements into functional specifications for IT team members and work closely with the Vice President, Director of IT, Module Leads Committee members and assigned work groups to ensure successful project delivery. The Business Analyst will also be involved in identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology or another related field; strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking skills; project management and organizational ability; high level of cooperation and professionalism; experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Smart Sheet (or another project management tool); and experience with Colleague required. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to develop clear and concise process documentation for users.
