Illinois Oil Marketing Equipment is Hiring a Billing specialist Near Pekin, IL

Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team at Illinois Oil Marketing Equipment, Inc.

As a Billing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include generating invoices, working with project managers to calculate charges, processing vendor invoices related to jobs, and assisting with various billing related tasks.

Responsibilities :

  • Generate and distribute invoices to clients accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review billing data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and resolve any issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all billing transactions.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to billing activities.
  • Adhere to billing policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices in billing.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong numerical and data entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with billing and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
