PART-TIME STUDENT LIAISON
OLNEY CENTRAL COLLEGE | OLNEY, IL

DESCRIPTION: The TRIO Student Support Services Program is designed to increase the college retention and graduation rates of eligible students; increase the transfer rate of eligible students from two-year to four-year institutions; and foster an institutional climate supportive of the success of students who are limited English proficient, students from groups that are traditionally underrepresented in postsecondary education, individuals with disabilities, homeless children and youth, foster care youth, or other disconnected students; and improve the financial and economic literacy of students in areas such as basic personal income, household money management, and financial planning skills; and basic economic decision-making skills. The TRIO Student Support Services Program serves 190 eligible students throughout the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges. This position will assist and support program participants in the TRIO Student Support Services by providing information, college and career guidance, academic advising, and student development activities that will result in completed career and educational plans for all participants in coordination with the Project Director.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Experience working in student services preferred. Experience working with low-income, first generation college students and students with disabilities preferred.

HOURS: Estimated 25 hours per week.

WAGES: Commensurate with experience.
