ILabz Technology is Hiring a Powerhouse Operator Near Indianapolis, IN
Role & Responsibilities:
- Daily Supervision of hourly RR/UAW Powerhouse Stationary Engineers.
- Review and approve daily hourly time and correct as necessary
- Enforce hourly shop rules and take disciplinary action as required
- Schedule daily work activities for powerhouse personnel on assigned shift.
- Coordinate gas-fired boiler operational activities.
- Understanding of high voltage (4,160-13.8Kv) electrical switching.
- Experience with plant chillers, pumps and cooling towers.
- Utilize CMMS (Maximo) preventative maintenance software to schedule repairs to equipment.
- Conduct periodic safety inspections and daily safety talks.
- Communicate process performance metrics and be comfortable with MS Office software.
- Maintain operational and daily utility logs.
- Set work priorities that drive team results.
- Problem solving ability and a commitment to the continuous improvement process
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Boiler Operations: 4 years (Required)
- High voltage 13.8Kv: 4 years (Required)
- Chillers/Cooling Towers: 4 years (Required)
Work Location: On the road
