Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana is hiring knowledgeable, experienced, service-oriented dining room Servers. Experience in a full-service restaurant is needed.

As a server, you'll wow our guests with outstanding service and hospitality. RBs (Responsible Beverage Service) certificated required for CA locations.

What we're looking for :

Excellent communication, hospitality, interpersonal and math skills

Skilled at reading the table and can anticipate your guests' needs

Team player; you're always willing to give and ask for help

At least six months of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant

Ability to make guest recommendations through knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, beer and a la carte food service Serving full menu and bar including wine and specialty cocktails.

Communicating orders clearly with the bar staff and kitchen

Continuous table maintenance

Delivering drinks and food correctly and efficiently Closing out checks and reconciling cash in a timely fashion

• Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Maintaining a positive teamwork attitude
• Communicating clearly, professionally, and respectfully Monitoring guest satisfaction
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs., and continuously bend, reach and twist; you're constantly on the move!
• RBS Certified or within 60 days of date of hire
• Food Handlers Card or within 30 days from date of hire
