In this role, you’ll sit near the beginning of the IKEA product journey. As a Goods Flow Planner - Warehouse, responsible for coordinating, receiving and shipping goods within the agreed time frames from the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:
Plan and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure smooth flow of inbound and outbound goods within strict deadlines.
Plan and perform Warehouse Management System (WMS) order data entry for outbound shipments.
Manage the yard inventory of loading units and provide regular updates to identified stakeholders.
Maintain a close connection with the unit operations and support inbound and outbound flow.
Partner with external groups to maintain awareness of the total supply chain.
Adhere to supply chain security protocols in accordance with local and country regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
HOURS – HL3, Tuesday-Saturday 6:00am-2:30pm
Seasonal Position:
Start: 4/1/2024
Anticipated End: 8/1/2024, may be extended or shortened based on operational needs.
Qualifications
Warehouse and/or transportation planning experience preferred.
Prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Microsoft Office proficient.
Requirements
Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
