What you'll be doing day to day

As a Local Retail Marketing Specialist, supporting omnichannel growth and brand positioning in a market, you will: Lead the implementation of internal communication strategies within the unit, ensuring seamless coordination and follow-up across all co-worker areas and channels. Collaborate closely with the Local Marketing Manager and Service (Corporate) Office to contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive local marketing and communication plan across the market, integrating national and local strategies. Utilize market research, including SWOT and Market analysis, for informed business and customer engagement planning. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute unit-specific marketing and communication plans using insights from PMA analysis, consumer data, income levels, and infrastructure. Drive recruitment and activation of loyalty club members, such as IKEA Family, focusing on increasing awareness, recruitment, and identification rates. Ensure all local communication channels adhere to marketing communication guidelines and stay updated. Plan, coordinate, and promote customer and community events to enhance visitation, loyalty, engagement, and create an enjoyable in-store experience. Analyze and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), along with actionable insights, pertaining to loyalty, visitation, and market trends with relevant stakeholders. Assume responsibility for allocating and managing local store activities and community budgets, ensuring optimal utilization for maximum impact.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree 5 years of related experience. Good communication skills (verbal and written). Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Self-reliant, motivated, and a team player. Requirements Travel is required for this role. Less than 5- 25% (1 day per week on average)
