Basic Function of the Job : Performs a wide variety of boule and wafer fabrication tasks in support of the production process, volume manufacturing processes and RD&E for Advanced Materials products.
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of process equipment including : Multi-Wire Saws, External ( Grinders, Surface Grinder, and X-Ray equipment.
Must be able to articulate various types of hand tools and power tools such as a Bandsaw, Belt Sander, and Dye Grinder required to carry out the task at hand.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work station according to 5S practices. Supports the scale-up of fabrication capabilities to keep pace with ever changing production levels.
Contributes to the continuous improvement of fabrication capabilities to an industry leadership position. Participates in Advanced Materials Environmental, Health and Safety activities.
Responsible for the II-VI ESGP appraisal system as it relates to your own career and personal development.
