Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Holiday Inn Express Downtown Milwaukee. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest satisfaction, revenue generation, staff management, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in hotel management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to hotel staff, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and operational excellence
• Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve financial goals
• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage services
• Hire, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve performance targets
• Maintain a positive working relationship with hotel owners, corporate management, and brand representatives
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and industry regulations
• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and profitability targets
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera / Merlin)
• Knowledge of local market trends, competitors, and industry best practices
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
