Job Summary: 
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for owning the delivery of iHerb’s hardware product portfolio, in partnership with internal engineering team members and external manufacturing and assembly partners. This individual will have a full understanding of all hardware components, their key design elements & requirements, the vendors that produce the component, and the assembly practices associated with the component. This individual will ensure the timely delivery of components to align with a master production schedule established with manufacturing partners.

Job Expectations:
Own relationship with manufacturing and assembly partners, domestic and international
Own bill of materials for hardware projects, including document management, engineering change orders, test procedures, and assembly plans
Determine the timelines and deliverables for the business and the broader organization
Execute on tasks to deliver results and ensure alignment with our strategy
Effectively communicate progress within the organization
Clear internal communication to various stakeholder groups
Manage ongoing processes on a daily basis
Gather data and metrics to drive projects and measure success
Conduct risk analysis, document risks, and control risk
Discuss highly technical issues with software developers and stakeholders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:
Multiple years of professional experience ideally in electro-mechanical hardware devices
Experience developing and delivering on project milestones with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and simultaneously in both tactical and strategic modes
Proven project management skills and driving complex projects to success
Passionate self-starter, decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas
Action and results oriented mentality and ability to problem-solve using creative thinking and innovation
Fluent in English, demonstrated strong writing and verbal skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously using data to guide decisions
 
Experience Requirements:
Generally, requires four (4) to eight (8) years of experience in project management in a fast-moving environment.

Education Requirements: 
Bachelor’s Degree required - engineering discipline preferred.

Judgment/Reasoning Ability:
Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
