IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union is recruiting for a Marketing Strategist to join the team at our headquarters in Moline, IL. After successful onboarding this role could have a hybrid work schedule balancing time in the office and remotely. This role will be responsible for managing credit union programs and events. The Marketing Strategist will play a key role in providing insight and options for member engagement and value and take ownership for execution.

What could a day look like as Marketing Strategist at IHMVCU?

• Support Retail and Remote acquisition and member experience goals
• Provide backup support on social media and digital initiatives
• Manage credit union programs (Member Advantages, Cash for Class Scholarship, Digital Store Front, etc.) and prepare monthly reports pertaining to usage
• Manage business line programs from requirements gathering to execution for campaigns and events (mortgage, credit card, insurance, etc.)
• Coordinate seminars, trade shows, and community events
• Develop and maintain effective and professional working relationships within the community and all other credit union departments
• Work with outside vendors as needed

The successful candidate should have following skills/qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, advertising or equivalent experience.
• Experience in leading creative projects and campaigns from concept to launch.
• Excellent project management skills with an ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
• Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with the ability to use data to inform all decisions.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to act independently within guidelines and scope of task.
• Strong computer skills including (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must present a professional, business-like manner and appearance.
• Valid driver's license required.
