IHMVCU is recruiting for an IT Solutions Engineer to join the team in our headquarters in Moline, IL.

Summary of the Position:

The Solutions Engineer is instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of software, systems, and data within a Microsoft-centric environment, with a specialized emphasis on API and core banking systems. By leveraging Microsoft technologies, tools, languages, and third-party solutions, this role will design and build solutions that combine modern development techniques with ML/AI advancements. Contribute actively to the specified development processes by following established criteria and adhering to prescribed application development standards and protocols. In the context of the Solutions Engineer role, not only develop but also leverage deep technical knowledge to execute advanced configurations for select enterprise applications, ensuring they are optimized for performance, scalability, and integration needs.

The successful candidate should have the following skills/qualifications:

• BA/BS in MIS or Computer Science and 5 years' commercial software and SQL Server database development experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft development languages, especially C#, ASP.net and T-SQL, Azure DevOps. In addition, Javascript, jQuery and Java development experience a plus
• Deep knowledge of API integrations, including RESTful services and SOAP protocols.
• Experience with core banking systems integrations is a plus.
• Understanding of Azure cloud services and their integration functionalities.
• Skills in model building and deploying ML/AI solutions using Azure and Microsoft Copilot as a plus.
• Familiarity with Qlik Replicate and Compose is considered an asset.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a focus on system integration challenges.
• Effective interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across diverse teams.

• Design, develop, and deploy applications utilizing Microsoft technologies like .NET Core, C#, and Azure services.
• Execute integrations of core banking systems with other enterprise applications to expand business capabilities. Implement and manage API integrations, ensuring secure and efficient data transmission between platforms. Harness Microsoft tools and DevStack to create optimal system integrations.
• Utilize Microsoft Copilot for AI-driven code suggestions and to streamline development processes.
• Engage in model building and deployment using Azure Machine Learning.
• Explore and implement solutions with Cognitive Services for application enhancement and automation.
