Job Description

Overview: The Organizational Design Program Lead plays a crucial role in guiding the strategic and operational framework of the organization. This position requires a unique blend of skills in organizational design, change management, and business operations oversight. The successful candidate will act as a pivotal liaison, ensuring the effective integration of policies and systems across departments, facilitating organizational optimization, and advising senior leadership on key operational and structural adjustments. This role is instrumental in enhancing the organization's efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability to changing business landscapes.

Responsibilities:

a. Liaison and Integration:

  • Facilitate coordination between the organization and relevant entities, including base organizations and major command counterparts.
  • Ensure seamless integration of policies and directives into the group’s operational framework.

b. Organizational Design:

  • Lead the development of the organization’s organizational structure to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Apply best practices in organizational theory to design a structure that meets the group’s mission requirements.

c. Change Management:

  • Guide the organization through change initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Develop strategies to manage organizational change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

d. Organizational Optimization:

  • Implement methodologies for streamlining operations, improving processes, and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Evaluate and adjust organizational practices to drive performance and mission accomplishment.

e. Business Operations Oversight:

  • Oversee the business operations of the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Manage efforts across the various sub organizations to maintain operational coherence and synergy.

f. Senior Leadership Advisory:

  • Act as a key advisor to senior military leadership within the organization, providing insights and recommendations on staff management and organizational health.
  • Prepare briefings, reports, and analyses to inform decision-making at the highest levels.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance or an ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in organizational design, change management, and business operations within complex and dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to apply organizational theory and design principles effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change, with a track record of leading organizations through successful transformations.
  • Experience in advising senior leadership and preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
