Ignite Technical Resources is Hiring a Senior Product Designer (UX) [BHJOB13022_12762] Near Vancouver, WA

On behalf of our client in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our client’s team for the initial 12 months contract with strong potential of an extension.
Role: As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for breaking down complex problems and finding innovative solutions that enhance the audience’s experience. Your expertise in UX design, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our products, helping us shape exceptional user experiences that delight our customers.

Responsibilities and work duties will include:

Understand business goals and target audience to define problems clearly
Collaborate with product management and engineering to identify and solve the right problems
Break down complex and nuanced challenges into manageable pieces
Develop concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and hi-fidelity mockups to address business and user problems, delivering measurable outcomes
Create experience design deliverables including user journey maps and ecosystem maps
Advocate for user-centered approaches and utilize design thinking processes
Articulate design rationale and challenge assumptions when necessary
Create user research plans and conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and analysis
Leverage product data and metrics to drive design decisions
Lead meetings or workshops to drive collaboration, ideation, and alignments among team members and stakeholders
Pay attention to detail when leveraging existing UI components, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the design solutions
Demonstrate a commitment to speedy execution and efficiency while maintaining a high standard of quality

Core Skills Requirements:

5 years experience in Product Design or UX Design
Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in product design with a focus on user experience and problem-solving
Proven experience in breaking down complex, technical problems and delivering seamless design solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audience
Track record of successfully shipping products, solving customer problems and achieving company metrics
Deep understanding of good user experience principles
Proficiency in facilitating meetings or workshops to drive collaborative design processes
Keen attention to detail Detail oriented, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team, handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of current design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Experience in Finance or Wealth Management is an asset
