Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Perform support duties that design, plan, coordinate, document and administrate the Fleet Support Office and training activities.
  • Provide project and program administration of NIWC LANT FSO Fleet Technical Assist Log, FSO Cost Estimates Log, FSO Funding Log,FSO Purchase Request Logand OneNAVWAR Fleet Response app. Ensure the logs are accurate and correctly correlated. Review and inspect all message traffic for latest information and documents and update as appropriate the various log's all newly received information and documentation.Inform the FSO of all new passes received through the OneNAVWAR portal app and process those that are the responsibility of NIWC LANT FSO. Work with NIWC PAC FSO on joint supported assists and events.
  • As the primary program coordinator for NIWC LANT FSO oversee the planning and support for all SOT events that NIWC LANT FSO are supporting with the SOT Team NIWC PAC FSO and FRD 200. Ensure that a cost estimate and SME nomination are received for each system from the proper ISEA. Review and correct as required all received Cost Estimates and then post them to the FSO Cost Estimate Log for approval by the Fleet Services Officer. Act as the primary point of support between the SOT Team and the ISEAs until each SOT have been completed.
  • Establish and maintain knowledge management best practices utilizing a common workspace for team projects on SharePoint, for simplified document retrieval, correlation, and analysis of completed tasks.Assist in data retrieval and disbursement to customers as required to meet assigned tasks and projects.
  • Access databases to export, analyze and deliver weekly and monthly metrics. Present information and recommendations to client in a professional and timely manner.
  • Deliver monthly customer reports and internal metrics to management for analysis and retention for contract deliverables.
  • Learn and understand Command and team organizational relationships to effectively communicate information appropriately and effectively.
  • Evaluate current processes and procedures and initiate process improvement actions to improve team performance.
  • Administrating the IT side of all FSO sites on Flank Speed and Intelink. Assisting as one of the division and department Site Collection Administers for all sites and Teams groups. Review and assist all to move sites to Flank Speed. Training co-workers when requested on the new capabilities and differences of the modern SharePoint experience. Documenting best practices using OneNote on the IPT site.
  • Assist with technical and business analyses and reporting for assigned projects.
  • Provide project and program administration of NIWC LANT FSO tools. Ensure the logs are accurate and correctly correlated.
  • Review and inspect all message traffic for latest information and documents and update as appropriate the various log's all newly received information and documentation.
  • Apply practical understanding of Fleet Support Office policies, procedures, requirements, and its objectives to track, analyze, improve, and applies promising solutions to problems and program goals.
  • Act as primary point of support between the SOT/SOT II Test Director and the ISEA's until each SOT/SOT II event has been completed" "Attend weekly SOT scheduling and coordination meeting for LANT FSO.
  • Learn and understand Command and team organizational relationships to effectively communicate information appropriately and effectively.
  • Assist in maintaining FSO event schedules.
  • Ability to support In office up to 3x/week and begin day ~0800.
  • Applies a practical understanding of Fleet Support Office policies, procedures, requirements, and its objectives to track, analyze, improve, and applies promising solutions to problems and program goals.
  • Knowledge in problem solving, writing, interpreting policies and regulations, and dealing effectively with people, and practical understanding of conducting surveys and analyzing data on training needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience within the Navy
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance

Salary: $58k plus to align with education and experience

Hybrid: 3 days a week onsite, 2 days remote
