Are you a Junior Admin looking for a dynamic opportunity to grow your career? Look no further! We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team on a temp–to–hire basis. As a Junior Admin, you will play a crucial role in maintaining Active Directory (editing accounts, creating and modifying security groups). You will be working a lot of tickets modifying and troubleshooting account issues with security tokens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer enterprise-level Active Directory services and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring adherence to security policies, procedures, and technologies.
- Configure user accounts for employees and external LEAs on MFA in Azure, as well as on the VPN MFA server, utilizing tokens, texts, or Authenticator App.
- Assist senior staff with server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches, while monitoring and testing system performance, providing performance statistics and reports.
- Conduct server and security audits, implement system backups, and manage recovery procedures.
- Practice server asset management, maintaining server component inventory and relevant documentation, including technical specifications; develop and update training materials.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of server documentation, and perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, including proficiency with Windows servers, operating systems, and server virtualization.
Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong working knowledge of hardware, server OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Visio, etc.
- Certification in MCP, MCSE, CNA, or CNE preferred.
- Hands-on technical expertise in server and PC operating systems, including Active Directory, Windows, Azure, and Microsoft MFA.
- Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and associated equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate within a team environment.
