Position: Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician

Description: Our NOC Technicians are the front line of the iGLASS Service. NOC Technicians configure, monitor, and maintain the iGLASS Environment. They notify customers and creatively problem-solve to resolve issues in our customers’ computing environment and respond to inquiries when they arise. Our technicians work with a diverse set of technologies and over time develop a broad breadth of skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor iGLASS Software to detect customer issues
  • Notify customers when alarms are detected
  • Configure iGLASS Software to monitor customer equipment
  • Respond to customer inquiries and make changes to the system
  • Configure iGLASS equipment for monitoring
  • Document new iGLASS work procedures as they develop
  • Follow customer run book to provide tier-1 remediation

Qualifications: * Experience working in a computer networking environment

  • Associates Degree or higher in Computer and/or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Proven knowledge of IP and Ethernet required
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical issues
  • Working knowledge of LINUX desired
  • Windows AD experience a plus
  • Experience with cloud-based environments like AWS and Azure a plus
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,200.00 - $71,500.00 per year
