What this Senior Accountant will be responsible for
- Review and prepare financial statements and reports monthly
- Conduct month-end pre/post close departmental tasks as assigned
- Book financial adjustments as necessary
- Oversee physical inventory as needed
- Process A/P Checks/Payments, Oversee and manage payroll
- Process credit card and deposit activity
- Responsible for coordination/preparation of annual budgets
- Ability to prepare and present a variety of monthly reports for management review (includes financial analysis summary, balance sheet analysis, delivery and warehouse, inventory analysis etc.,)
Preferred qualifications of the Senior Accountant
- BS Accounting, CPA/MBA a plus
- Full month end financial close experience with an ability to put together financial statements and present to senior management.
- Experience working with a multi-entity company or public accounting experience
- Strong MS Excel skills
- The right attitude!
