Description
CNCS Clerk
Clemmons
Reports to: Distribution Center Shipping Supervisor

Supervises: N/A
Summary Statement: Provide support to fulfill CNCS orders and prepare for shipping as required to customer following all established work and safety procedures.
Essential Job Functions

• Receive customer orders from database, pick CNCS goods from shelves, pack shippingcontainers, label containers and ship finished kit to customer.
• Pull finished goods from shelves according to CNCS Tickets/Order Sheets.
• Check item descriptions and quantities requested against item descriptions and quantities pulled from shelves for accuracy.
• Check CNCS Tickets/Order Sheets for add-ons or special instructions.
• Annotate quantity pulled and any backordered quantity, weight, number of boxes, etc. on CNCS Tickets/Order Sheets.
• Receive and inventory items and update database system.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts of inventory.
• Load and off load trailers using a forklift.
• All other duties as assigned.

Marginal Job Functions

• Assists other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
• Participates in training and meetings as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Must have knowledge of FIFO and JIT inventory system.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to follow up and follow through on all delegated work tasks.
• Must be able to work in a warehouse type setting standing for most of the day.

Education and Work Experience

• Must have high school diploma or GED
• Must be able to operate a computer and be proficient in Excel and Word.
• Must be or become forklift certified and maintain certification.
• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
