IES Commercial, Inc. - Commercial & Industrial Division, seeking Commercial Electrical Project Coordinator in Tigard, OR.

Job Summary

  • Designs, plans, develops, monitors, and updates electrical circuit and system layouts for electric power distribution
  • Prepares 2D/3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of moderate complexity for prefabrication and installation
  • Reviews drawings/documenation of basic to moderate complexity for compliance with project requirements
  • Performs bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations
  • Lays out points on project sites used for installation using Trimble Robotic Total Station
  • Adheres to industry codes and standards
  • Complies with all company/customer safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Min. 5 years combined related-experience/education in CAD software
  • Experience with Revit and BIM
  • Proficient MS Office (WORD/EXCEL/Outlook) skills
  • Ability to understand/apply job-related concepts, technologies, instructions, procedures, and computer and software operations
  • Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards, including NEC
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
