Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Utility Operator to join our team. As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various utility systems and equipment. This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility. Responsibilities: - Operate and monitor utility systems, including but not limited to HVAC/R, hydraulics, high voltage, and industrial electrician systems - Perform routine inspections and maintenance on utility equipment to ensure proper functioning - Troubleshoot and repair any issues that may arise with utility systems - Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals - Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or upgrades - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the facility - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties Requirements: - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude - Experience working with hydraulics, schematics, and industrial maintenance - Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
