We are looking for a Dietitian Aide to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting the kitchen staff in meal preparation and service to residents and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Help with meal preparation and cooking
- Assist in meal preparation and service based on dietary needs and portion control
- Follow menus and food preparation instructions from the Cook or Dietary Manager
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as per the cleaning schedule
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is preferred
- Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation protocols, along with a Food Handlers Certification
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 pounds
