Brooks Rand Instruments is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Inventory Clerk to join our Inventory Control Group. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations and will work closely with the Quality Control Manager on a variety of daily shipping and receiving tasks.

Ideal candidates will possess the following:

• High school level education or equivalent (required)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Good math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing

• Ability to work quickly and independently (but willing to seek help when necessary)

• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and move objects weighing up to 50lbs

• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout an 8 hour shift

• Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis

The Shipping and Inventory Clerk is responsible for the following:

• Receiving and verifying incoming shipments

• Preparing products for shipment and tracking inventory

• Maintaining warehouse and work areas according to the maintenance schedule and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and requirements

The pay range for this position is $19 - $22 per hour (DOE). This is a full-time position that is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, 401(k), health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 6 paid holidays per year.
