POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performs underground and aerial fiber terminations and splices with single fiber ranging from 12-96 count cable
  • Capability to prep fiber optic cables using hand tools
  • Performs fiber terminations and splices in various environments
  • Assist in troubleshooting complications within a fiber network
  • Install and route fiber optic or electrical cable in overhead racks, enclosures, and other various methods
  • Assist fellow coworkers in fiber or non-fiber related tasks
  • Ensure all safety requirements are always being followed
EDUCATION
GED
High School Diploma
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • 1 year experience in Telecommunications Construction or Renewables Collections Construction
  • Understand how to interpret prints
  • Ability to Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to Operate a ¾ ton vehicle and backup a trailer
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and light power tools
  • Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental protection practices and procedures
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to travel nationwide
