Idyllwild is a small town located at over 5,000 feet on the western slopes of California's San Jacinto Mountains. Even though it seems far from the hustle and bustle of city life, the town and campus frequently hosts music festivals, prominent speakers and artists, and community events. Also, it is only two hours by car to Los Angeles and San Diego.
Responsibilities/Duties of the Bookstore/Coffee Shop Associate:
- Greet customers and assist them with the selection of merchandise
- Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily Help customers in payment processes at the store counter
- Maintain the outlook of the store by dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise on the shelves
- Receive and Check Deliveries
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as espresso, espresso lungo, caffe latte, and cappuccino
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; and maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for the coffee bar. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
Education
High School diploma required
