Animal Care Giver
Job Description:
We are in search of an enthusiastic, positive, focused employee who loves animals! An Animal Care Giver is responsible for the care of our dog and cat guests. Daily duties will include: direct care of dogs and cats, feeding, administering needed medications, handling dogs and cats, assist in checking boarded guests in and out, cleaning up kennels and grounds, bathing, walking and playing with pets, keep working area clean and organized, accurately assess the health of boarded guests, follow daily procedures and checklists, possible cross training in other departments, perform other functions as deemed necessary or as assigned. Background and drug test required.
Pay
$14.00-$15.00/hour cumulative wage, including tips.

Job Requirements:
§ Demonstrated ability to handle any dog or cat deemed board-able by management
§ Be undeterred by harsh weather as well as kennel environment (heat, cold, noise, smell, etc.)
§ Ability to lift and control 50 pounds
§ Ability to handle large/energetic dogs
§ Exercise proper judgment (how and when to react)
§ Operate Computer
§ Read, write and communicate effectively
§ Must be available to work weekends and holidays
§ Ability to work in an emergency, even if not scheduled
§ Arrive to work on time and ready
§ Maintain appearance and adhere to dress code policy
§ This is a (part time/full time) position
You must be available to work 7 days a week between the hours of 7:30 am-6:30 pm, you will be scheduled up to 5 of these days.
