IDEXX is Hiring a Remote Full Stack Developer

Are you looking for your next challenge? IDEXX has an exciting opportunity for a Full stack Developer to join a brand new team focusing on a payment system .
This role can be fully remote or based from our Maine office.
So, what does this team do? We are a payments team undergoing design and construction to ensure secure and reliable payments processing and user experience integration within IDEXX applications. We are starting an innovative project targeting three key aspects of payments processing: an implementation application, a robust payment processing engine, and the development of a user-friendly interface to be integrated into IDEXX applications. Joining the payments team provides a distinctive chance to contribute to a newly established team and the delivery of a payments platform that promises lasting value to IDEXX, our numerous veterinary practices, corporate accounts, and pet owners.
As a member of the payments team, you'll engage in every facet of the software delivery lifecycle, spanning design, story writing, building, and testing. Collaborating within a dedicated software delivery team, our primary focus is on prioritizing quality to facilitate the secure and reliable expansion of our payments business.

A bit more about the role:
You will be a valued contributor in a highly effective agile team delivering industry leading payments features .
You will exercise your technical knowledge in customer facing software development.
You will utilize your strong full web application stack knowledge and solid understanding of technologies from the database to the presentation tier.
You will participate technical discussions to influence decisions and designs.
You will contribute to a culture of innovation, inclusion and risk-taking in the engineering team.
You will work closely with the product owners to move projects to completion in an efficient, secure manner.
You will design, document and communicate technical solutions to the challenges faced when creating a shared enterprise payments service.
What are we looking for?
Proficient in React and Typescript.
Basic understanding of state management in frontend web applications (e.g., Redux, MobX ).
Advanced usage of VSCode , including debugging and extensions.
Proficient in Git for complex version control scenarios.
Regular usage of GitHub, including pull requests and code reviews.
Experience with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and Aurora.
Bonus is you have:
Ability to design and implement serverless applications using AWS SAM.
Experience with databases, both relational (RDS, Aurora) and non-relational.
Understanding of secure authentication methods, such as using OAuth in Auth0 and AWS Cognito.
Experience with Datadog.
Experience with containers and container services (e.g., Docker, Fargate , Kubernetes).
What you can expect from us:
Salary of $75000 - $95000
