The I.T. Support Specialist works as part of a team that provides professional managed I.T. services to IDEOLITY clients. These are primarily nonprofit, professional services, administrative and knowledge organizations in the Kansas City metropolitan area and elsewhere.
IDEOLITY will consider applicants who prefer minimal full time (30 hours/week) as well as full time (40 hours/week). Occasional use of your vehicle is required and a bi-weekly mileage reimbursement will be paid.
This position has these primary responsibilities:

Preparing new hardware for deployment
Taking care of parts inventory and e-recycling
Occasionally going to client sites to install, troubleshoot, repair or replace computing devices

Certifications from Microsoft, CompTIA, etc. are not required but necessary for advancement and we'll help you get them.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee must regularly lift and/or carry/move between 25-50 pounds as IDEOLITY delivers equipment to clients, recycles older computer equipment, and sometimes moves office furniture. The employee will need to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
