Identity Group Holdings Corp. is Hiring an Assembler Near Brunswick, ME

General Summary:

The general manufacturing worker processes any combination of tasks involved in assembly and packaging of company products, such as signage, acrylic, metal, various plastics, material prep, vinyl, etc. Follows set procedures concerning the processing of parts and the inspection of those parts. General workers will operate various types of equipment throughout the manufacturing/assembly process as well.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

•Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.

•Be able to learn such skills as pick and peel, applique, quality control, etc.

•Be able to learn how to prep and assemble products.

•Must be able to read and understand the work orders.

•Must be willing to be cross-trained and move to other areas when needed. Duties and

Required Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Assure that the daily/weekly schedule is completed.

•Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of safety standards.

•Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the shop floor.

•Keep work areas clean and organized.

•Work as part of the team.

•Follow all company rules and policies.

•Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality.

•Assure product is packaged correctly and for safe transit

•Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

•Schedule vacation so that department remains functional.

Education and Experience:

•High School diploma / GED

•1 yrs. in equivalent work environment

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50lbs

•Stand for long periods of time

•Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time

•Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
