Summary / Objective

As the Marketing Analytics and Insights Director, you will be pivotal in guiding our marketing team's strategic decisions. Your expertise in data collection, analysis, and interpretation will deliver actionable insights shaping marketing strategies, refining campaigns, and catalyzing business growth. This role demands a strategic thinker who can connect data with marketing strategy, ensuring our initiatives are data-driven and impactful.

This role reports to the VP, Strategy & Operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with marketing colleagues during the entire lifecycle of marketing campaigns across digital channels, including paid search, social media, display advertising, and affiliate marketing. Provide data-driven input and guidance for everything from concept development to launch, measurement, and continuous optimization.
  • Data-Driven Attribution Expertise: Champion the development and implementation of advanced data-driven attribution models to accurately assess the impact of each marketing touchpoint on consumer behavior and conversions. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure attribution insights inform budget allocation, campaign optimization, and strategic planning, thereby maximizing marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Monitor key performance indicators and analyze campaign effectiveness to produce actionable insights that foster data-driven decisions. Work closely with Finance, Business Intelligence, Revenue Ops, and Product teams to enhance our measurement frameworks.
  • Market Insights: Understand and evaluate market trends to help improve knowledge around audience segments and pricing, and to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing dashboards and reports. Establish and track KPIs, providing a clear view of marketing performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams to define and monitor KPIs, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals. Proactively use data analysis to inform marketing strategies and suggest optimizations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, including senior management, showcasing findings and strategic recommendations.
  • Campaign Retrospective Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in developing campaign retrospectives to distill and apply learnings to future campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in marketing strategies.
  • Vendor & Agency Partnership: Oversee the management of brand trackers and collaborate with marketing agencies to optimize budgets for maximum efficiency and ROI.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are / What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • 10 years of performance/growth marketing experience, preferably in a high-growth tech environment, or combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and optimizing performance marketing campaigns that drive user acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, quantitative reasoning, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Familiarity with statistical tools and software (e.g., R, Python) for data analysis is preferred.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Thoughtspot to create understandable and actionable reports for various stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of attribution modeling techniques and the ability to apply these models to evaluate the effectiveness of different marketing channels.
  • High proficiency with analytics and ad management platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Ads.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Amazon, Google) and database query languages (e.g., SQL) to analyze customer data and segment audiences.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization.

Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000 - $190,500, plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate’s qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.

US team members (and their spouses, domestic partners, and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance which includes company contributions to a Health Savings Accounts. Team members are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, team members can enroll in the company's 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. You receive 15 days of paid vacation yearly, increasing to 20 days after one year. Additionally, you get 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 20 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents, 12 weeks for others. Also, there's an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for qualifying expenses.
