Poidmore Orthodontics located in Folsom, CA is currently looking to fill a full-time Ortho Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) position. The ideal candidate will be friendly, upbeat, professional and have a positive attitude. 

Responsibilities

• Assisting the orthodontist during patient appointments by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside support
• Taking dental impressions, x-rays, and photographs as needed for orthodontic treatment planning
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and orthodontic care instructions
• Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to orthodontic appliances as directed by the orthodontist
• Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of orthodontic supplies and equipment
• Collaborating with the orthodontist and other team members to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and care

Qualifications

• Must have current and active CA certified RDA License
• Upbeat personality is a must
• Loves working with people
• Patient-focused and a team player
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of dental software, Google Office, and Microsoft Office Suites
