Idea lab is one of the fast growing out of Houston. We offer an innovative educational program designed to instill fundamental STEAM (SCIENCE-TECHNOLOGY-ENGINEERING-ART-MATH), and Cooking concepts in students. Through the use of a proprietary curriculum. Our programs create a fun learning environment that promotes preschool through adolescent development via afterschool, camp and birthday parties. Experience of Idea lab style of enrichment allows children to explore concepts of project and design- based learning while discovering their creativity, expanding their imagination and developing essential critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

● Providing supervision while teaching the IDEA Lab curriculum

● Building strong and positive relationships with children and their parents

● Providing emergency procedures (as needed)

● Delivering the IDEA Lab curriculum in it’s purest form

● Providing overall safety and oversight of the kids

● Cleaning/ Organizing as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Some college courses

● Teaching or child care experience

● First Aid / CPR

● Clean Driver License

● No prior offenses on record

● Complete background check - must be clean

● Provide an FBI fingerprint check as instructed

● Passion for working with children

● Knowledgeable in the subject matter

Must be able to work independently.
