IDEA Insurance is Hiring a Remote Telesales Agent

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telesales agent to join our team at IDEA Insurance Agency for a permanent position. In this role you will be responsible for helping customers pick a health insurance plan by going over their medical needs, medications and benefits they are eligible for, so that they have a clear understating of their health insurance plan coverage. In addition, you will be expected to make outbound calls to targeted audiences requesting an agent to reach out to them to promote our products and services. You must have strong communication and organization skills, be detail oriented, have the ability to pursue others to make an immediate decision and close the sale. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

Accomplished daily high impact targets to achieve great commissions.

Assist customers with passion and responsibility to find the best health insurance plan for their needs.

Understand multiple medicare plans and their benefits, networks, etc.

Analyze customers needs in a call while searching for plan options and be proficient at it.

Assist with low income state programs applications to get better prescriptions drug costs or health plan coverage for customers.

Manage the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system, including inputting and organizing customer data and using the CRM to communicate with leads, schedule appointments and daily work reports.

Understand Affordable Care Act rules and qualifications to create new applications in the marketplace to assist customers with health plans explanations and health sherpa enrollment application.

Perform Outbound calls and Inbound calls from internal leads campaign.

Must be ready to work and follow schedules.

CAPABILITIES / KEY COMPETENCIES:

Understands Medicare Rules and Benefits

Communication and Organization skills

Understands Major Medicare Plan Carriers such as Humana, WellCare, UHC, Aetna,

Health plan research and analysis

Multi tasking while helping a customer on the phone

Patience to listen and understand customers

Competitive and team player

CRM management

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple lines of products

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency with Google Sheets, Slack, Notion

Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

License 215 or 240

2 years of experience Health Insurance Sales role

Strong communication and writing skills

Proficiency with Sunfire, Connecticare and/or Healthsherpa enrollment platforms

Major medicare carriers knowledge such as Humana, WellCare, Aetna, UHC

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of State medicaid applications, LIS applications, Medicare Parts understanding

Affordable Care Act Education and Understanding of APTC rules

Understands Ancillary Products, Private Short term medical policies and OFF-Exchange Plans
