This SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the current S4/HANA landscape to support our company’s dynamic global needs. Each team member will contribute to building Solutions within the vast array of SAP products to support our business objectives. We are currently looking for innovative and driven Senior Level MDG/PLM Solution Architect to join the existing team and contribute to all future business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Take a leadership role in designing the technical solution implementation of both the SAP MDG and SAP PLM solution sets. Simplot is in the early phase of implementation and this role will lead that design and work with other peers to implement the solutions.
• Collaborate with SAP MDG and PLM functional analysts on the team to assist in configuration of all solutions on each platform.
• Collaborate with a number of internal and third party developers that will focus on all integration design and development.
• Collaborate with multiple System Integrators on both platform as the lead of the technical implementation of each solution.
• Utilize agile methodologies for continuous delivery of solutions. Each team works in pre-defined sprints where deliverables are collectively established by the team members in a bottoms up approach of scope definition.
• Design, develop, and test the scoped solutions and collaborate with functional and technical peers on the long-term sustainability of the solutions that are implemented.
• Define and deliver Proof of Concept Products in anticipation of their current/future utilization.
• Document solutions and provide knowledge sharing presentations with peer solution architects, and technical and functional peers. Simplot’s development culture is based on peer collaboration where your work is rewarded as a contribution to the entire enterprise architecture.
• Participate in continuous discovery of new SAP solutions that will utilize the existing SAP Product Suite already procured by Simplot, or solutions that are offered by SAP or complimentary products that create solution in the MDM/PLM domains.

Other Information

• 7 Years of proven experience as an SAP solution architect or lead technical developer.
• Extensive experience in implementation of the SAP PLM suite and SAP MDG is required.
• S/4HANA experience is required.
• Solid understanding of various integration patterns between SAP products and non-SAP Products is beneficial. Preference will be given to candidates that are currently working with the SAP BTP integration suite or previous working knowledge of SAP PI/PO
• Solid understanding of building hybrid integration solutions (Cloud/On-Premise) is beneficial.
• Solid understanding of the development lifecycle utilization of SAP Solution Manager is helpful.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies is helpful.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills are required.
• Good understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices to be used during development are required.
